Read the label first
Our socks use several fabric blends, and some have silicone grips. Check the care label on your pair before washing or drying. Here are a few habits that help between wears.
Keep pairs together in the wash
A mesh laundry bag saves you from hunting for the missing sock. Separate colors and fabrics, and turn socks inside out if the label allows it. Leave some room in the machine; a gentle cycle helps reduce rubbing on patterns and grip dots.
Go easy on heat
High heat can affect elastic and some grips. Air-dry your socks when the label allows, and let them dry completely before putting them away. Our wool-blend boot socks should be hand-washed and air-dried.
Check heels and toes
These spots do most of the rubbing against your shoes. Rotate your pairs and feel inside your shoes for rough patches. If a heel has worn through or a cuff no longer stays up, it’s time for a fresh pair.
